Intraoral scanner

For a relaxed look behind the scenes

At Mundreich, an intraoral scanner replaces conventional silicone impressions for taking dental impressions. You are spared the unpleasant feeling of having a foreign object in your mouth and the resulting gag reflex. This makes the treatment significantly more comfortable and is a huge relief for anxious patients. It is a suitable option for patients of all ages.

The intraoral scanner generates a virtual image of your teeth by taking electronic measurements of the tooth surfaces. Using multiple single measurements taken at different angles, the coordinates are combined on the computer to form a complete model dataset.

Another advantage is that the computer-generated result is exceptionally precise. This makes it possible to produce dentures that are practically indistinguishable from natural teeth and fit extremely well. This good fit ensures that the dentures are highly biocompatible and that the gums are completely free of any irritation over the long term.

3D X-ray – DVT

A perfect view for a perfect result

In many cases, state-of-the-art technology is the foundation of the best results. That’s why we use digital volume tomography (DVT) in our clinic to get the most accurate picture possible of your teeth.

Many of the details we see on a DVT would be hidden from us on a two-dimensional X-ray image. Surgical procedures are associated with an increased risk of injury to adjacent structures. Precise knowledge of the patient’s anatomical structures is an enormous advantage here. This knowledge is provided by a 3D X-ray. Especially in implant dentistry, precise planning and positioning of the implants is only possible and predictable with 3D images. Microscope and magnifying glasses

Microscope & magnifying glasses

Optimal optics for unique insights.

The fine structures of the teeth and gums often cannot be seen very well by the naked eye, meaning that they cannot be treated with the necessary care. For this reason, it is standard in our clinic to use magnifying glasses with several magnification powers for many therapies. These glasses clearly contribute to a higher quality of treatment.

For procedures that require even more precision, we work under the microscope. This gives us even greater accuracy and ensures an aesthetically optimal result.

Ultrasound surgery / Piezosurgery

Biological regeneration

Piezosurgery or ultrasound surgery enables particularly gentle and targeted interventions – whether as part of the removal of (wisdom) teeth or bone augmentation.

Many scientific studies confirm that this type of surgery achieves considerably better postoperative results than the conventional approach. The surrounding tissue is not damaged and wound healing is much faster and less painful and there are fewer complications than when using conventional surgical instruments. Significantly fewer after-effects and restrictions are the positive consequences. No wonder then that this technology is standard at the Mundreich clinic.

Eigenbluttherapie

Biologische Regeneration
